An optical fiber recoater is a professional precision optical device designed to re-apply UV protective coating onto stripped bare optical fiber after fiber stripping, cleaving and fusion splicing. It restores the original outer fiber diameter, provides complete mechanical protection for fusion splice points, and effectively avoids fiber micro-bending, breakage, signal attenuation and external corrosion in long-term field use.
